Analytics is optional. The website still works without it.

1. Your choice

IDJoy asks before starting optional website analytics. Choosing “Continue without analytics” keeps optional analytics off. You can change the choice later.

2. Essential browser storage

Some browser storage is needed for security, authentication, form safeguards and to remember your privacy choice. It is not used to build an advertising profile.

• idjoy_consent: remembers whether optional analytics is allowed. It lasts for up to 180 days unless you change or clear it sooner.
• IDJoy login/session storage: used on authenticated portal pages so signed-in users can access the correct account and private tools.
• Feature-specific local or session storage: some tools use browser storage to prevent duplicate submissions, preserve an active workflow or remember a setting described beside that feature.

3. Optional first-party analytics

If you accept analytics, IDJoy creates a random analytics visitor identifier and a session identifier. We use them to count visits and understand anonymous paths through public pages.

The first-party analytics dataset can include page paths without query strings, referral host names, campaign parameters, broad device and viewport categories, browser language, country code supplied by Cloudflare, scroll milestones and selected business actions.

The analytics event collector is designed not to store raw IP addresses, complete referrer URLs, typed form values, invoice details, banking details, uploaded logos or email addresses.

The browser identifier idjoy_analytics_id lasts for up to 180 days after analytics is accepted. Session identifiers expire with the browser session and are rotated after an extended period of inactivity.

4. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is an optional measurement provider on IDJoy. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded until you accept analytics.

IDJoy keeps advertising-related consent settings denied in this implementation and does not use the website analytics choice as permission for personalised advertising.

When enabled, Google Analytics may set identifiers such as _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies. Their exact lifetime is controlled by Google Analytics settings and may be shorter if you clear browser data or withdraw analytics permission.

5. Cloudflare hosting and website measurement

IDJoy uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare may process network and security information needed to provide those services.

Where Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for the site, Cloudflare describes the product as privacy-first measurement that collects limited website-performance dimensions rather than building cross-site visitor profiles. This is separate from the consented first-party IDJoy analytics dataset described above.

6. Retention

IDJoy's raw first-party analytics events are scheduled for deletion after 180 days. Analytics consent audit records are scheduled for deletion after 395 days.

Aggregated reports may be kept longer where they no longer identify an analytics visitor or session and are useful for comparing website performance over time.

7. Change or withdraw analytics permission

Use cookie settings at any time. If you withdraw analytics permission, IDJoy clears its analytics identifier from your browser and requests deletion of first-party analytics events associated with that identifier. The Google Analytics consent state is also changed to denied and IDJoy attempts to clear Google Analytics cookies available to the site.
