Can you still get a free month of Perplexity Pro?
The old Perplexity referral offer that gave a new subscriber one month of Pro for free is no longer active.
Perplexity’s own Help Center now labels the “Give a month, Get a month” programme as deprecated and says it ended on 6 October 2025. The separate Comet Referral Program ended on 6 November 2025.
That matters because old referral links are still circulating. Some still open a Perplexity page. An old link opening successfully does not prove that a free month will be applied at checkout.

Treat the redemption screen as the source of truth.
Perplexity says existing referral links may still be shared even though the old referral programmes have ended. It also says new commissions are no longer issued through the concluded Comet programme.
So we are not going to promise you a free month that Perplexity itself no longer describes as a current referral benefit.
If the page that opens from our link shows a promotion on your account, read the offer, eligibility and renewal terms before adding a payment method. If it does not show a promotion, assume the old free-month benefit is no longer attached to the link.
Perplexity still runs promotions
The referral programme ending does not mean Perplexity has stopped running promotions.
Perplexity says it distributes promotional offers through partners, authorized channels and its own website. Those offers can include a trial or discounted subscription period.
There are two details worth checking before you redeem one.
A payment card may be required. Perplexity says promotional and trial subscriptions can require a valid credit or debit card even when no charge is made during the free period.
The plan can renew automatically. Unless you cancel before a trial or promotional period ends, Perplexity says the subscription can move onto the standard paid rate for the plan selected during redemption.
That is why a screenshot or old blog post is not enough. Check the live redemption page attached to the offer you are using.
What Perplexity Pro gives you now
If you are deciding whether Pro is worth paying for after a promotion, the current plan is broader than the older version many free-trial articles describe.
Perplexity’s Help Center currently lists benefits including:
- More citations per answer than the free plan.
- Access to Perplexity Create for files and apps.
- Higher file and photo upload limits.
- Extended access to Perplexity Research.
- Enhanced image generation.
- Limited video generation access.
- Access to multiple premium AI models inside one subscription.
Perplexity currently names models such as GPT-5.2, Claude Sonnet 4.6 and Gemini 3.1 Pro in its Pro documentation. Model availability changes, so check the current model picker before subscribing for one specific model.
If your real goal is access to several premium AI models
A lot of people searching “Perplexity Pro free month” are solving a different problem: they want access to strong AI models without paying for several separate subscriptions.

The products overlap, but they are not interchangeable. Perplexity is strongest when search and source-backed answers are the centre of the job. Hyperagent is designed around agents completing broader workflows with tools and context.
How to check a “free Perplexity Pro” offer before trusting it
Use this five-minute check whenever a new promotion appears.
- Open the offer from the company or named partner, not a screenshot reposted on social media.
- Check whether the page states a start date, end date, country or eligibility rule.
- Look at the checkout before entering card details and confirm the discount is applied.
- Check what the subscription will cost when the promotion ends.
- Set a cancellation reminder if you only want the promotional period.
Perplexity says expired promo codes cannot be reactivated. It also says discount codes are intended for individual use, which is another reason to avoid random code lists that do not explain where a promotion came from.
Why this page keeps the old slug
This article previously ranked for searches around getting a free month of Perplexity Pro. Removing it created a dead end for people who were already finding the answer through Google.
The URL has been restored because the search intent still exists. The answer has changed.
Keeping an old headline promise after the underlying offer ended would turn a useful search result into bait and switch. The page should earn the click by telling you what is true now, then give you the links that are still worth checking.
